If Free Fire India opens to a blank profile, pause before buying diamonds. Compare the UID in the new app with the UID on the profile you meant to use. If the numbers differ, you are looking at a different account. The app edition, account region and sign-in method are the first things to check.
Match the app to your account region
Free Fire India accepts India-region accounts. If the game shows a region warning, read the message before trying a different sign-in. Garena's Free Fire India FAQ explains what each warning means and links to the official app listings. If the error persists, use Garena's ticket instructions.
Check Apple ID before switching from Free Fire MAX
On iOS, Garena says using the same Apple ID that you use for Free Fire MAX to sign in to Free Fire India creates a separate Free Fire India account. Your existing MAX profile stays intact. If you can still open it, note its UID and check whether the account offers the recovery email option described in Garena's FAQ. Follow Garena's instructions for that account before switching. If you already opened a new profile and need help recovering the old one, contact Garena support.
Keep access to your original profile
Before you uninstall an app or clear its data, record the UID and check how you sign in. If you are using a guest account, follow Garena's guest account binding guidance while you still have access. Keep receipts and account screenshots private and submit evidence through official support if requested. Keep passwords, recovery codes and one-time codes to yourself.
Confirm your UID before buying diamonds
Copy the UID from the profile where you want the diamonds to land. Check the game edition and region supported by the offer before paying. If the profile is new, progress is missing or the offer does not clearly cover your edition, resolve that first. For help finding the number, see our Free Fire UID guide.
